In this lecture we will describe the famous first passage percolation (FPP) model on d-dimensional integer lattice and will provide a brief survey of existing main results and discuss some of the long-standing conjectures. Towards the end we will discuss the FPP model with i.i.d. Durrett-Liggett class of passage time of distributions and explore what more we can say in this context.
