It is an open question whether the support of a local cohomology module over a noetherian ring is a Zariski closed set in Spec(R). In this talk, we will discuss some of the known cases in prime characteristic rings, namely regular rings, hypersurfaces and rings with smaller embedding dimensions. The crucial idea would be to use the Frobenius action on the local cohomology modules.
