Prof. Peter Takac is a retired Full Professor (C4) of the University of Rostock, Rostock, Germany. His major research interest is Partial differential equations and modern functional analytic methods with applications across a wide range of fields. He is the author of two books and more than 100 influential research articles. In addition, he has served on the editorial boards of various journals.
