Abstract :

Limited fossil resources and environmental problems associated with them have emphasized the need for sustainable energy supply options that uses modern innovative renewable energy technologies. Solar energy can be used for wide range of applications such as power generation; potable water production; cooling and heating. High Performance solar thermal technologies have emerged as matured energy technologies. In this talk, the detailed computational solutions for solar thermal energy systems will be presented to evaluate the performance and optimization of configurations. An extensive thermal optimization and analyses of these technologies using computational heat transfer may result in efficient and indigenous energy systems for energy secure economy and climate resilient future (Sustainable Development).
