Abstract :

In our Linear algebra course, we all have seen a proof of Cayley Hamilton Theorem. In this talk, I will discuss a proof that uses the Zariski topology on $k^{n^2}$, where $k$ is an algebraically closed field. To begin with, I will discuss Zariski topology on a polynomial ring of n variables over a field and some of its basic properties needed for the proof. No prerequisite required.
