Abstract :

The word "Hyperbolic" is probably the most overused term in mathematics arising in several branches of mathematics like PDE, Differential Geometry, Dynamical Systems, etc. Surprisingly, there are several definitions of hyperbolicity even within complex analysis! In this talk, we will discuss some of the prominent notions of hyperbolicity in complex analysis and highlight some of the deep applications.
