Convergence of slices and geometric aspect in Banach spaces

Abstract :

It is observed that some geometric properties such as uniformly convexity, strong convexity, Radon-Riesz property of norm can be characterized in terms of the convergence of slices. In this talk, I will discuss some basic geometric properties of Banach spaces involving slices and their geometric interpretation.
