Abstract :

It is known that there are infinitely many primes and the gap between two consecutive primes is unbounded. The Bertrand's postulate gives the bound between two consecutive primes in terms of the first prime. In the talk, we will discuss the proof which was given by Paul Erdos in the year 1932.
