Abstract :

In this talk, we shall see how the idea of $Z$ -transformation comes from $Z$ - matrices. We shall spend the first few minutes to get an overview on Euclidean Jordan Algebra and then we shall define $Z$ - transformation on Euclidean Jordan Algebra. Our next goal will be to relate the few properties of $Z$ -matrices with the few properties of $Z$ - transformation. Prerequisite: Knowledge of basic Linear Algebra.
