Abstract :

Craig Huneke introduced the notion of d-sequences, generalizing the concept of regular sequences. He proved that the defining ideal of the Rees algebra of d-sequence is generated by linear forms. K. N. Raghavan has given a simple proof of this theorem. In this seminar, we will discuss this simple proof.
