Abstract :

The presentation will provide information on methods and algorithms for group analysis of differential equations. It will be shown how the group of transformations allowed by the system of partial differential equations is used to construct various classes of exact solutions, the obtaining of which is reduced to the integration of simpler systems of equations. The results obtained for the system of gas dynamics equations, and in particular for the equations of a monatomic gas motion, will be presented.
